Jon Balcerzak

Jon Balcerzak focuses his legal practice on probate, estate planning, real estate, and general business matters. He brings strong trial experience from his time as a public defender, where he handled both felony and misdemeanor cases with confidence and clarity. In 2025, Jon was named a partner at Heban, Murphree & Lewandowski, LLC, in recognition of his outstanding legal work and commitment to clients.
Jon is a member of both the Toledo Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. He joined the firm in 2022 after previously working in private practice with Maloney, McHugh & Kolodgy Ltd. His experience in both public and private legal settings has shaped his practical, results-oriented approach to client service.
A lifelong Toledoan, Jon graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio University. He is also a proud graduate of Toledo Central Catholic High School.
Outside the office, Jon lives in Toledo with his wife, Kendra. He enjoys golfing, cheering (and sometimes agonizing) over the Detroit Tigers, and spending time with family and friends.
Jon is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and continues to serve individuals and families across Northwest Ohio in a variety of civil litigation and estate matters.
